Cycling Routes: A Blend of Challenge and Beauty

Up and down the outskirts of renown Prosessco Hills

The cycling adventure begins on the enticing outskirts of the Prosecco hills, where a wide variety of short and steep climbs reveal vineyards and small towns. After a stop in the town of Asolo for the simplest and best porchetta sandwich in the area, the route flattens out. The trip ends with a final short climb to Contrà Soarda, a welcoming vineyard offering the finest Prosecco, a wide selection of snacks and a breathtaking view of its estate.

Reaching the top of Monte Grappa offers stunning views on the Veneto valley

On the second day, the riders head for the revered Monte Grappa, famous for its notorious climbs that challenge even the most experienced riders. There are a total of 9 different climbs to choose from, offering many different route options in terms of length and steepness of ascent and descent. We recommend the climb starting from the village of Semonzo. It is a test of stamina, with panoramic views of the Veneto Valley and many hairpin bends. Above all, it allows you the longer and less steep descent to Romana. If that doesn't convince you, a stop at the Malga Vittoria farmhouse for an authentic, home-cooked lunch will.

On the last day, the lesser known but equally charming Monte Foza is the choice. This hidden gem of a climb to Foza offers tranquillity and breathtaking views that seem to have been taken from a postcard. The winding roads, framed by lush greenery, offer a tranquil escape from the crowds. Reaching the town of Foza and continuing your ascent on an even more remote road, you can enjoy the experience of riding through an unspoilt plateau. After pedalling along windy roads on the plateau, the long and fast descent to Primolano begins. A short climb through some of the most picturesque hairpin bends in the region will take you to the valley of the peaceful Lago del Corlo.

Culinary Delights: A Taste of Tradition

In the evening you can enjoy the culinary treasures of Bassano del Grappa. Dining at Danieli combines elegance with exquisite cuisine. The terrace overlooks the bustling piazza and adds to the experience of an evening well spent.

Great food and exceptional service can also be found at Osteria Alla Caneva. A hidden gem in the side street of Bassano, where all courses can be enjoyed in a quiet setting with great service. The wine list offers local white wines to sample the lesser-known producers of the region.
