Embark on an invigorating cycling tour that whisks you away from the bustling city to the serene west, tracing the historic tarmac of the 1972 Olympic road race. The smooth asphalt beckons you to accelerate, offering a blend of nostalgia and exhilaration as you glide along the highway.

Upon reaching anothr turn to the west, the landscape shifts dramatically. The gentle undulations give way to a more hilly terrain between the shimmering waters of the Starnberger See and the Ammersee. Here, the essence of classic cycling unveils itself, with a curvy route that weaves through picturesque small towns. From time to time the road reveals the majestic emergence of mountain scenery, a sight that lifts the spirit and invigorates the senses.

As you progress, the quiet roads invite contemplation, guiding you through tranquil wetland areas on the southern tip of Lake Starnberg. This part of the journey offers a rare opportunity to immerse yourself in the natural beauty surrounding you.

Do not pass by the charming tiny coffee house that awaits on the southern tip of the route. It serves superb coffee and delectable homemade cake, the ideal respite to indulge and rejuvenate. Sink into the relaxing lounge chairs and allow both body and mind to surrender to the moment, replenishing your energy for the remainder of the ride.

The hilly terrain continues on your return journey, reaching its zenith at Ludwigshöhe. Here, take a moment for a final pause — a breathtaking view of the distinctive alpine mountain ridge stretches behind you. This vista serves as a fitting conclusion to your escapade, a reminder of nature's grandeur and the thrill of the ride.
