It's a must for everyone. Be prepared for hilly terrain and some traffic during the day. The latter can be avoided if you get up early or leave at dawn.

Nothing compares to the simple pleasure of riding a bike.

The ride to Mallorca's most famous lighthouse is not about the statistics. It is a feast for the senses, transforming a somewhat challenging ride into a ride in the park.
Begin your journey in the town of Port Pollenca and ensure you are well fuelled for the climbs ahead. The initial climb offers breathtaking views to your left. The long bay of Pollenca and Alcudia is framed by the edge of the Tramuntana mountains. This is just the beginning of the visual delights.
After the climb, enjoy an equally long descent that takes you through a typical mallorcan oak forest. The cool shade and tranquil atmosphere of the forest provide a refreshing break.
As you begin the second climb, the landscape changes again. Narrow bays open up on both sides of the road. The ever-changing scenery is so captivating that you hardly notice the climb.
A few more ups and downs on the road and soon the iconic lighthouse appears on the horizon. As you reach the easternmost tip of the island, take a moment to take in the breathtaking 360-degree view.
The return journey offers a long, enjoyable descent that allows you to time trial through the forest effortlessly and sheltered from the wind. A final climb from sea level and a speedy descent bring you back to your starting point.
