Cycling Bliss and Brews

The tiny building is easy to miss, but the crowds on a sunny day make it visible from miles around. Kiosk Isarwahn is a Munich institution, located at the eastern end of Wittelsbacher Brücke and right next to the cycle path along the Isar and into the city. It's perfect for a post-ride beer and snack before the group splits up and heads home in different directions.

You can expect a lively atmosphere, sometimes a band playing and almost always pedestrians stopping for a refreshment. Part of the fun for cyclists is mixing with the local part-time alcoholics and the hip residents of the young Glockenbachviertel. Maybe you'll hear some funny stories, eavesdrop on a casual date or just catch up with your fellows on the ride.

Kiosk Isarwahn is a spontaneous celebration of Munich's eclectic culture. Whether you're munching on a pretzel, sipping a cold beer or just soaking up the vibrant atmosphere, this place promises a social end to a perfect day of cycling.
